Obituary
Joan Virginia Perron; wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother, sister-in-law, mother-in-law and friend. Passed away peacefully with her family at her side, Monday, October 27th, 2008 at the Welland Hospital in her 69th year. Beloved wife of the late Yvon Joseph. Loving mother of Kathy (Robert), Corrie and Yvon Jr. Dear grandmother of Eric, Chantal, Ryan, Alysha and Tyler. Cherished sister of Marguerite (Dewitt), sister-in-law of Melly, Shirley and Marguerite (Grant). Mother-in law of Mike Welsh. Mrs. Perron was predeceased by her mother Kathleen Grant and brother Donald.
Joan was born and raised in Welland and spent many years working for Beaver Foods Limited and the Niagara District School Board.
Funeral Details
The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Welland Funeral Home, 827 East Main Street, on Saturday November 1st 2008 from 1 to 3pm. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Thank you to all who supported the family in the past few months and a special thank you to her CCAC nurses Irene and Erin, and the Emergency staff at the Welland County General Hospital.
