About Welland Funeral Home
On January 1st , 1966, Mr. Armand Gervais opened the doors to the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME at 827 East Main Street, Welland, Ontario. It was a modest building consisting of two visitation rooms. Armand served the local community with the greatest respect and excellent service. He made himself available 24 hours a day and as his reputation grew so did the building at 827 East Main Street.
An extra visitation room / chapel was added to better serve the needs of the community. In recent years the Welland Funeral Home added a second generation of family to the business. Armand's son Roger Gervais graduated from the Funeral Services Program at Humber College and obtained his Funeral Director's License in 1991. With Roger now at the helm and Armand still actively involved, we remain a proud family owned business. We are proud of our staff and their diverse talents, abilities and attention to detail. We believe that each one is a caring, understanding professional who takes pride in helping people. For over 40 years the Welland Funeral Home has strived to serve every faith with the greatest respect and exemplary customer service.
